Hi. My name is Bronwyn Ayla, and I am a Reiki practitioner and teacher, and the Founder, Director, and Instructor of the Wu Wei School of Reiki in Berkeley, CA, where I have been instructing in the healing art of Reiki since 1998.

Following Reiki I, when you are ready to progress your skill and understanding, three additional training levels will take you through the intermediate level, all the way to Reiki Master.

This is a self-paced course that you will complete entirely online on your own time. But rest assured—this is a multi-media experiential course—you will not simply be sitting watching video after video.

You will be participating in attunements, self-healing treatments, and incorporating ceremonial practices. This is a journey of transformation of the heart—not the act of simply consuming information.

How Can Reiki Be Taught Online?

I thought Reiki Training couldn't be taught online. Then COVID happened and I realized that Reiki had to keep getting out there even with the new restrictions on physical contact. So I spent the last 8 months coming up with a way to do this.

I use a combination of recorded sound healing attunements, rituals, prayer, and offerings to activate the Reiki lineage. It is not only extremely effective, it seems that it further activates the receiver into setting up daily practices and empowerment on an individual level.

We are in an era when we absolutely need to be masters of our own energy and focus.

You can start with Reiki 1, or if you have already trained in Reiki with a different school you can start with Reiki 2 or Reiki Master.

Reiki 1 will give you the tools to launch into this healing practice with exponential spiritual growth. Reiki 2 will uplevel this practice to be able to work with people not in your physical presence or to things you can't touch such as emotions, ideas, or relationships. Reiki Master will give you the tools to practice Reiki on a Master level and pass on this energy to other people.

The Reiki Compendium is recommended for all practitioners regardless of what level of Reiki you are currently exploring. Here you will learn valuable skills such as sound healing, working with children, Asian medical theory, manifestations, auric healing and so much more.

FAQ's

When is your next in-person Reiki class?

Bronwyn does not, as of yet, have an in-person class scheduled due to COVID. The online training is pre-recorded, animated, and edited - including how to do the hand positions. You can also book supplemental online sessions with Bronwyn to go over any questions that may arise through her online scheduling system. If you are local to the SF Bay Area you can also schedule supplemental Reiki treatments or in-person attunements with Bronwyn.

What if I am already a Reiki Master or attuned to Reiki 1 or 2?

About half of the people who take this course are already attuned to Reiki Master. They study with Bronwyn to gain a deeper understanding of Reiki in the context of Asian medicine, for clinical practice, and for personal growth. You are welcome to start this training at wherever level you are at. You can jump into Reiki Master - in which case I would strongly recommend you complete Reiki Master and the Compendium as it will have the breadth of information needed to fully grasp the material on a master level. You can also jump in at Reiki level 2. Reviewing Reiki level 1 from this broader perspective is very helpful.

Who are my cohorts and is there a Reiki Community?

Yes, we have a dedicated and thriving online private fb group called Wu Wei School of Reiki. Your purchase of this course allows you access to this private online forum. Here people post questions, share experiences, and connect with each other as support for our practices.

Are the classes live? Will I get time with Bronwyn? What are the dates?

The classes are pre-recorded and edited for everyone's convenience. They include online attunements, ceremonies, home practices, and suggested activities. You can start anytime on a rolling basis. Bronwyn also does spontaneous live sessions on FB where she shares every day Reiki practices with herself and her daughter. You can also book supplemental online sessions with Bronwyn to go over any questions that may arise through her online scheduling system. If you are local to the SF Bay Area you can also schedule supplemental Reiki treatments or in-person attunements with Bronwyn.

Is there a Reiki Handbook and how do I access it?

The books can be downloaded in a PDF format from the online portal once you join the course. Very soon a hardcover of the book will be available for purchase online.

How long will it take to complete the course?

Bronwyn recommends taking 3- 4 weeks for each Reiki level. It generally takes about 21 days for the full Reiki attunement to occur and for the energy to fully integrate into the energy body. You could begin each Reiki level on the new or full moon, for example, so that you have an established lunar rhythm for the courses. The Reiki compendium can then be referenced throughout the training as an additional resource to take your healing practice deeper. The entire training can therefore take between 63 and 84 days. Of course, depending on what competing priorities you have, you could do the entire Reiki training much more slowly.
