Reiki II
A Reiki II attunement connects you to the Reiki symbols and sounds that make possible the channeling of Reiki across time and space. The symbols also enable you to treat areas, groups, relationships, and other situations where physical touch is not possible. Reiki II makes you part of the healing of humanity in a new way. Ability carries with it responsibility. In Reiki I you learned the skills of self-healing. Reiki II includes a process of emotional and mental clearing, including enhanced intuitive abilities and psychic awareness, through which people often report a deeper connection.
Your written symbol test for your Reiki
II certificate is held half-an-hour before the next
scheduled Reiki share. It is a great idea to come to
as many Reiki shares as you can.
Through your Reiki II attunement, symbols are imprinted on your chakra and energy system for life. The changes that your attunement will bring about are highly positive, but they may be disconcerting. For about 6 months after the training you may find that your outgrown mental and emotional patterns come up for healing. What is no longer positive for you will be cleared from your emotional and mental bodies. These changes occur in a very individual way. Reiki supports and lights the inner consciousness that is present and alive in each of us.
Many of you are continuing to do regular Reiki trades with other students from the Reiki I workshop. You will find this of great value as you move into a more advanced Reiki training. I highly encourage each of you to contact classmates and complete as many Reiki shares as possible before the Reiki II weekend. Reiki Ethic
You must have permission to give Reiki and to use the symbols on others. If you cannot ask in person, ask the recipient's higher self. If they do not accept the energy, then send it to the earth. When using Reiki it is wise to add, "May this Reiki be used for the highest good, for the harm of no one, and for the benefit of all."
Reiki Symbols
Reiki symbols are pictures of energy. They are a representation of intent that enables you to focus the energy of Reiki for specific purposes. The symbols bridge the gap between energy and the physical world, allowing you to transform and direct the Reiki forces.

"The Reiki symbols are transcendental in their functioning. Whereas most symbols have an effect on the subconscious mind of the user, causing a change in one's internal state, the Reiki symbols access the source of Reiki directly and signal a change in how the Reiki energy functions, independent of one's internal state." The power and effectiveness of the symbols comes from the Reiki attunement as well as the clarity of the practitioner and the ability of the recipient to accept the energy. They connect one to a higher consciousness, or Rei, as a product of a deep agreement between God and the initiate during the second-degree attunement. After this, the Reiki symbols operate automatically. They cause an expansion of the energy field and act as a doorway to higher levels of vibration.
The symbols must be memorized so that you may draw them exactly. Please do not show them to those uninitiated into Reiki II. Treat the symbols with respect; they are sacred representations of very ancient energy and they embody the energy in themselves.
The symbols may be
activated in many ways:
Draw them with the hand.
Visualization - draw them mentally .
Say their names, which are actually mantras (usually 3 times).
Project the symbols through the third eye.

On Meditation & Concentration
Meditation is the key to concentration. Concentration is the key to focusing energy. Without concentration, the energy is indiscriminate and fragments into infinity. Learn how to accept your thoughts without falling into the traps of fighting or following them. Meditation brings forth the peace that generates love. With love, a special kind of nectar is released in the body.
