"I am currently completing my last year of Chinese Medical School. I often incorporate Chinese medical theory in my assessment and treatment plans. Chinese diagnostic methods such as pulse and tongue analysis may be used to supplement the sessions. In addition, acupressure points and techniques such as cupping may be used when appropriate. If you would like to be treated with acupuncture and herbology I suggest you make an appointment with me at the Berkeley Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Clinic. (510) 666-8234."

Hakomi Body-Orientated Psychotherapy
"Hakomi Experiential Psychotherapy combines the Eastern traditions of mindfulness and non-violence with a unique, highly effective Western methodology. It is a body-centered, somatic approach that's at the cutting edge of modern psychotherapy. The body's structures and habitual patterns become a powerful doorway to unconscious core material, including the hidden core beliefs which shape our lives, relationships, and self-images. The Hakomi Method quickly accesses this core material, allowing it to emerge safely into consciousness. Once conscious, it can be re-evaluated, and where appropriate, powerfully transformed. New dimensions of awareness can be integrated, helping the individual to build a more satisfying and effective life. Loving presence and the healing relationship are central to Hakomi. The process creates an exquisite level of sensitivity and attunement between therapist and client, developing a deep sense of safety and connection which facilitaties the effectiveness of the therapy.
"I am currently an
intern of Hakomi Method. In Hakomi sessions, I utilize Hakomi techniques and integrate Hakomi principles to offer body-orientated therapy."
IonCleanse footbath and Nutritional & Life-style Consultation
"The idea of detoxifying the body using ions was developed during World War I as a method to help soldiers with mustard gas poisoning. The IonCleanse uses this technology to gently and effectively eliminate wastes and detoxify the body. In IonCleanse sessions one bathes the feet in a tub of water in which an instrument is placed that generates an ionic charge. As the ions enter your body they begin to neutralize tissue acid wastes. You will be able to see particles, fat, and mucous residues change the color of the water as they leave your body. People often report feeling lighter after the first session, being able to think more clearly, and enjoying a greater sense of well-being. It is especially effective with edema and sprains of the ankles. I often provide these sessions along with nutritional and lifestyle consultation.
"I charge $50 for one 30 minute session. Please allow 40 minutes for the entire treatment time. A series of at least 5 sessions is recommended."
